I bought the Denon DBP-2012UD on Saturday and replaced my Sony BDP-S570 with it. It's hooked up to an Onkyo 1008 amp through HDMI. My TV is Samsung PS63C7000

I don't think Denon 2012UD will 'marry' better with your Denon receiver than the Marantz. Both will partner well. In fact, Marantz will give you an option to decode audio
Denon's DBP-2012 has almost all the functionality of an Oppo (analog 7.1 output, DVD-A, SACD, Blu-Ray, etc) at a fraction of the price. There are a few sitting on eBay right
